at least she started the call off with "you'll probably think i'm a crazy lunatic"... began to yell at me about how bad her health anxiety is and that she came to our facility last night and now she's convinced she has hantavirus.... i cannot even begin to form a response that did elude that i thought she was an idiot... i explained that we clean our facility every night. that was not good enough. "MY HEALTH ANXIETY IS SO BAD I DON'T THINK THAT I WILL BE ABLE TO COME BACK" "okay. if your anxiety is that high, i would recommend not coming back until you feel better about the situation" "WELL NO I NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR PROTOCOL IS" "maam, other than cleaning the facility every night, there is no specific hantavirus protocol..." my job is not to talk you down and make your anxiety better. i do not care about your anxiety. you are an adult, you need to seek professional help, not scream about how scared you are at the random person answering a phone.. submitted by /u/More_Advantage7667 to r/callcentres [link] [comments]
